Los Angeles-based Angel City Football Club (ACFC) has teamed up with Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel, designating them as the official gaming partner of the team. This collaboration centers around empowering adolescents in the Inland Empire area of Southern California. Jointly, they are initiating a series of soccer clinics aimed at generating prospects in athletics and academics.

A distinctive aspect of this alliance is the “Angel City Sponsorship Model,” which guarantees that each team collaborator contributes back to the Inland Empire community. Commencing with the club’s inaugural season in 2022, the agreement encompasses hosting young, local teams from the Inland Empire to attend ACFC matches as honored guests. Furthermore, the club’s outreach coaches will conduct soccer programs in San Bernardino for 150 children between the ages of 7 and 14, concentrating on skill development and personal maturation. Rikki Tanenbaum, CEO of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, expressed, “Yaamava’ Resort & Casino is delighted to partner with Angel City Football Club. The Tribe is dedicated to collaborating with entities that align with our principles, and ACFC’s objective to bolster our Southern California community by equipping youth and cultivating inclusivity strongly resonates with us.”

Jessica Smith, the top revenue executive for Angel City Football Club, shared her enthusiasm about the highly anticipated collaboration with Yaamava, bringing them on board as an inaugural partner. She highlighted Angel City’s dedication to creating positive change within Los Angeles and further afield, and how the alliance with Yaamava broadens their influence within the Inland Empire community, commencing with unique soccer programs for young athletes.
