The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Mohegan as its newest participant.
Mohegan, previously known as Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, is now a part of the IBIA family.
As a member, Mohegan will collaborate with the IBIA and its other associates to safeguard the integrity of athletic competitions.
Mohegan was established in 1996 and is owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut. They possess, develop, and manage gaming and entertainment destinations in the United States, Canada, and North Asia. They also offer online gambling through their Mohegan Digital brand.
Ray Pineault, President and CEO of Mohegan, stated that digital gaming and sports wagering will be a significant component of the entertainment sector in the years to come.
He expressed that joining the IBIA will aid them in staying ahead of the curve and working together with other companies in this highly regulated field.
Khalid Ali, CEO of the IBIA, declared that Mohegan joining the IBIA is a significant victory for the organization. He stated that it demonstrates their ongoing expansion across the globe, particularly in North America.
IBIA is delighted to have the backing and commitment to wagering honesty from organizations like Mohegan. We’re collaborating closely with their cutting-edge monitoring system, which encompasses numerous of the world’s largest regulated operators.
This declaration comes after IBIA’s recent accord with the German Sports Betting Association (DSWV).
The accord details a collaboration between DSWV and IBIA to work jointly on betting and associated integrity concerns in Germany.
