WatchandWager, the foremost American branch of Webis Holdings, has renewed its permits in California and North Dakota. This is excellent news for the firm, as it will enable them to keep operating in these vital states. The California Horse Racing Board has extended the company’s application, permitting it to conduct horse racing at the California Exposition racetrack (the state’s only racetrack), from December 26, 2016, to May 21, 2017. The CHRB also approved an extension of WatchandWager’s out-of-state multi-jurisdictional ADW license, extending it to the end of January next year. Meanwhile, the North Dakota Racing Commission approved WatchandWager’s advance deposit wagering (ADW) license last Thursday, extending the company’s right to operate in the 2017 calendar year. WatchandWager President Ed Comins stated: “Securing these license extensions in two key states for American horse racing demonstrates our dedication to compliance and due diligence, as well as our expanding position in the US betting industry. Transaction volumes through both states have increased significantly in 2016 to date, and are anticipated to continue to grow in 2017 and beyond.”
WatchandWager and PMU have broadened their collaboration.
